Cartier is making a push to include their relatively brand new in-house movement in their higher-end watch-making endeavors. This will include the Rotonde de Cartier Perpetual Calendar Chronograph which will hold the 1904CH MC movement in its 42mm case. Not only that, but this beautiful new edition to Cartier’s Rotonde collection will have a perpetual calendar function and a high-end chronograph function, all completely produced and manufactured by Cartier and released this year at SIHH.

This is a project that has gone under five years of research and development from 135 different engineers. This watch is a substantial movement forward compared to their last attempt on the ID One concept watch in late 2009.
