Featured Engagement Ring: Ritani Tapered Semi-Mount

Featured Engagement Ring: Ritani Tapered Channel Set Semi-Mount Engagement Ring Available Now at King Jewelers Nashville

Today’s featured engagement ring is a classic semi-mount from Ritani. We’ve talked often about the pros and cons to choosing a semi-mount engagement ring over a proposal-ready engagement ring, so you probably already know why the semi-mount is a great way to go. To refresh your memory, a semi-mount engagement ring is sold separately from the center stone, which allows you to choose the exact center diamond that fits your taste and budget. Oftentimes, this saves you money in the long run and allows you to pick the diamond that most appeals to you and your significant other.

Ritani Semi-Mount Engagement Ring

This Ritani Semi-Mount Engagement Ring features secure channel-set side stones

While micro-pave engagement rings are all the rage right now (they appear to show less metal and more diamond side stones, and oftentimes look more delicate,) there are some downsides to choosing that style. Less metal around the side stones also means less security, and these style mountings will have to come back for check-ups more often to repair loose or lost side stones. Channel set engagement rings, on the other hand, are extremely secure. Your side diamonds are set flush within a “channel” of metal, making them more secure and also more comfortable on your middle and pinkie fingers.

Ritani Semi-Mount Engagement Ring

This channel-set semi-mount engagement ring by Ritani is tapered at the top, making the center stone appear even larger. This mounting is designed to hold a 1.0ct round diamond center stone, but our on-site master jewelers are happy to assist if you choose a larger or smaller center stone.

This 18K white gold semi-mount engagement ring does not include the center diamond, and the total diamond weight of the mounting is 0.38ct. It is also available in rose gold or yellow gold, if you prefer.

Visit our Nashville, TN location (just a few blocks south of the Green Hills Mall) to see this ring in person and explore our wide selection of loose diamond center stones certified by GIA, Forevermark, and AGS Laboratories. We pride ourselves on offering the highest quality loose diamonds in every size, shape, and budget.
